Learn Internet Marketing Tools In Order To Stay On Top of Your Competition
To learn Internet marketing tools is actually very simple. Once you learn some online systems you can begin to market almost any product around the planet. All you have got to have is a good product, the facility to market that product at a fair cost, and a technique for people to discover that your product exists. These are some pointers on how to start. Many rely on word-of-mouth advertising, while others offer coupons and place newspaper adverts to get folks into their stores.
Reaching out to the world through TV advertising was once the province of the large corporations. With the appearance of YouTube , however , the playing field has leveled a great deal, especially for the private business owner.
Many of us just think about YouTube as that wacky internet site where folks can post all sorts of peculiar and off-the-wall video clips about their buddies and relatives.
The more videos a person creates ( that finish up ranking high on google search pages ) the better chance there is to drive traffic to their business website–and to get consumers and sales.
If you are getting started and do not have a product to sell, think about finding an organization that allows individuals to tie into their systems of distribution and compensation plans to market their products for them. There are several corporations that basically focus on just this type of operation–and the profits can be big, particularly if these techniques are applied.
If you do your homework researching these ideas in more depth, you’ll find that what I say rings true. As a TV producer and online marketing businessman I know first hand the value of advertising and marketing when trying to learn internet marketing. The great thing about YouTube is that it is FREE. Be bold, be creative, and above all believe in yourself. Do not let the naysayers get you down, and do not let negative self-talk stop you from moving forward and accomplishing the things you would like in life. Do something now.
Who else wants to learn Internet marketing strategies super fast, virtually for free and all while having a ton of fun? If you’re like most of the people who read my articles and comment on our content, the plain truth is that you most likely spend a good proportion of your time trying to glean all the most effective strategies from the biggest’ learn internet marketing gurus’ in the land, right? And if you like most, according to statistics, the possibilities are you are doubtless doing very little with all that you’ve learned… Nor never will .
So what’s the key to starting to have MORE success with less time invested in learning exotic concepts that you’ll doubtless never truly apply?
Or related differently, start getting your face muddy with your OWN mistakes, and stop buying into the marketing manipulation that other people are’selling’ you about their own. Let me give you an example. Article marketing is one of the simplest things to learn when trying to learn internet marketing, and apply to your own business, with just about NO learning curve whatsoever . The beauty of this particular approach is you can jump right in and get started today. The key takeout, and one that I have gleaned from my own personal experience is this :
the moment that I STOPPED visiting forums,’guru’ blogs and filling my digital library with ebooks and home study seminars was the spotless moment where my own profits skyrocketed in ways that I never imagined. That one straightforward shift made all the difference in my own business, and I have never looked back since. It will do the same when you are ready…..and I dare say, if you’re smart, that moment is now! For More Information, please check out Learn Internet Marketing Tools

A Review of Article Marketing Guru, David M. Wood
If you’re like me, you likely never heard of David Wood until now. I’d never heard of him either until I came across him teaching his article marketing methods on a webinar that was hosted by the good folks at MLM Lead System Pro. Like hundreds of others on the call, I was astounded at the enormous number of leads that David generates and the money he makes implementing these free article marketing strategies!David Is One Of The Best There Is At Article Marketing!Dividing their time seasonally between living in Fairbanks and someplace warmer as in the tropics, is easy for David and his wife Ashley due largely to David’s success using article marketing on the internet to grow his MLM business. David has harnessed the muscle of the internet to create an almost endless supply of leads for his MLM business and an income that easily puts him in the top 1% of income earners in his MLM company! The Man Is Absolutely Amazing! With no previous internet marketing experience, David Wood was able to go from a booming Network Marketer to becoming what Brian Fanale describes as an “Internet Marketing Rock Star” in only two-and-a-half short months! (In another article I offer a review of the amazing Brian Fanale, another great MLM success story…look for it on my article blog page)”An Internet Rock Star in ONLY 2½ months?” you ask. “Well, yeah. Anytime someone can go from sponsoring 4 people per month into their primary MLM company to developing 50 – 60 leads a day AND sponsoring 8 people into their MLM business in one day, I’d say that qualifies them as an MLM Rock Star, wouldn’t you?”Article Marketing…A FREE Strategy To Build Your Business! And did I also tell you that David utilizes Article Marketing strategies that are FREE! That’s right, I said FREE! He doesn’t pay a dime in advertising or marketing costs with these strategies! That’s what got my attention and made me a student of David Wood! And just so you know, Article Marketing is not the only free stratagem for building your MLM organization online. Visit us and we’ll show you more…the link’s at the bottom of this critique.Oh, and did I also reveal that in this same 2½ month period David has become a 6 figure income earner in his top MLM and that shortly after doing the webinar I was on, he actually made more than $30,000 in less than 2 weeks?I believe 2 things are responsible for David Wood’s colossal success that all began with his Article Marketing efforts and are ongoing even as I write this!David Has The Nature Of A Servant’s Heart!I’m convinced that David Wood possesses a Servant’s Heart and that he wants simply to help others succeed. I would not be shocked to learn that David subscribes to the same philosophical beliefs of the legendary speaker and motivator, Zig Ziglar, who sums it up best when he says, “…anything you want in life can be yours if you’ll just help enough other people to get what they want!”The second significant thing that David Wood possesses is his system. David shares his successes with hundreds, perhaps thousands of other Attraction Marketing System advocates just like you and me! It is this marketing system that enables teacher and student alike to bring together the strategies necessary for anyone to succeed in their MLM business.Time To Take It Online!Opportunity meetings, in-home presentations and handing out expensive marketing materials to entire strangers are all a thing of the past! “It’s probably time to look at taking your MLM business online…” and learning some fresh marketing strategies to take you and your Network Marketing business where you really want it to go!On the other hand, if the long-established MLM marketing methods I referred to earlier are working for you and you’re basically looking at what’s possible should you decide to go online with your business, then I promise you that you could certainly do worse, but probably no better, than plugging into David Wood’s trainings and webinars or those of some other Article Marketing specialist that David Wood has mentored! Feel free to pop in on our website (the link is below) and let us help you become the next “Internet Marketing Rock Star!”

Internet Marketing- Exposing the Myths, Lies, and Half Truths of Internet Marketing Campaigns
Discover the truth behind the claims of Brighter Teeth, Slimmer Bodies and Fat Paychecks toted by popular internet marketing campaigns. In this short review, we expose 3 of the internets most successful internet marketing campaigns, and why they work.Number 1: Brighter Teeth- The MythIf you’ve been searching for a teeth whitening system you may have come across a very official looking web page toting claims that a single mother “accidently” found a whitening system for free. The web page resembles a Newspaper complete with pictures of ABC, CBS and NBC logos stating “As Seen on TV” just above the “News Story” of the lovely single mom, and her terrific story of finding the “Secret” to a Brighter Smile.Within her story, she reveals the names of the two tooth-pastes she accidently combined to achieve her beautiful white smile, and even gives you the web addresses because the companies are giving away free samples, you only need to pay for shipping.Sounds innocent enough. Why is it a Myth? When you come upon this ad, scroll to the bottom of the page. There you will find, in small letters, a disclaimer that reads, “This story is fictional and meant for entertainment purposes only”Why Does it Work?:You only get the two “Free” samples of tooth paste after you give them your credit card information. They say you’re card will not be charged for 30 days, knowing most people forget to bother with cancelling a 5.00 future credit card commitment, so the recipient will continue to receive their toothpaste via the mail until they cancel.Number 2: Slimmer Bodies- The LieThis story runs almost verbatim to the story of the mom with the white smile. It goes something like this, “Overweight Girl Accidently Discovers Fat Loss Secret and Loses 60 Pounds in 2 Months!”The web page looks just as official as the teeth whitening page, it even has the same ABC, CBS and NBC “As Seen On TV” Marketing ads just above the overweight girls story. (It’s probably even written by the same internet marketing campaign company)This time the story is about two vitamin supplements, that when combined, equal super fast weight loss results. She even gives personal photos of her results!I had to laugh out loud at that one. When you come across this ad, take a good look at the before and after pictures. If you look closely you’ll see they are not even the same person. Unless she was also selling a Fat Tattoo Removal System! Why is this one a lie?First, losing 60 pounds in 2 months is not only unhealthy, it’s practically impossible, unless you’ve just given birth and we’re talking about baby weight. Why Does it Work?:Internet Marketers prey on peoples desires and hopes, and when they offer a 30 day money back guarantee, the people who are frustrated with their weight will usually jump right on board.
Again, the internet Marketer knows he will get 2 to 3 months of commissions based on his referral before the “mark” discovers the magical vitamins don’t really work as well as described in the marketing campaign.Number 3: Fat Paychecks OnlineI hate to admit it, but this one even sucked us in.The program is called Maverick Money Makers and promised we could “Make $4,725.00 In One Month”. It came with a 30 day money back guarantee, so we figured with this one we would give it a shot and if it was full of bull, we’d dump it on day 29.Once we downloaded the program, admittedly, we were pretty amazed at the amount of information contained within. It had something like 500 hours of audio from a “Guru” named Mack Michaels explaining the techniques he has used to amass fortunes for himself, and his loyal followers. He even dressed up a few hours of the audio with Tony Robbins and other inspirational speakers. So, now being totally inspired, (More by Tony than Mack) we followed the Maverick Money Making system to the letter, and of course fell short of the aforementioned $4,725.00 a month. Our first month was more like (Exactly) $937.32. That amount still sounds like a decent paycheck, but let me tell you how many hours we put in to make $937.32.We devoted 10 hours a week over a 4 week period for a combined total of 40 hours. Why is this one a 1/2 Truth?Actually, it’s a 1/3 truth if you do the math. We would have to work a complete 40 hour week to achieve the results Mack describes. Also, most of the information in Maverick Money Makers can be found through research on the internet. Yes, Mack put it all in one place and added some inspirational speeches, but all the same, someone with a bit of internet marketing savvy could also pull up the info in time on their own.Although I am sure Mack would argue that we could also build our own cars, but buying one is faster and easier. Why Does it Work?People want a quick fix to their financial worries, so knocking down a few bucks on a credit card they can cancel in 30 days is a risk they are willing to take. The catch is it will take 90 days to completely go through the Maverick Money Making system because the volume of information is enormous and takes time to study. So, Mack knows he gets at least 3 months pay, but again I will concede, if you have no internet marketing experience, his program would probably be worth your initial investment. In closing, be wary of Internet Marketing campaigns and always read the fine print, and if you do decide to try one of the 30 day money back guarantees, remember to cancel on day 29!

Is Internet Marketing and Working at Home the Answer to Layoffs? 7 Questions Answered
More Layoffs Ahead
Just this week, it was announced another huge layoff is about to occur at one of the nation’s largest companies. With friends and family members who work there, I must admit to some concern, even though it will not personally affect me. Since May of last year, I have been working part-time to keep the wolf at bay, while building an online business in Internet marketing. Because of this, some of my family and friends have turned to me for advice, so I am going to answer some of their questions here.
Question 1: How easy is it to get started?
Getting started is easy–making it work is, well, work. At this point, I do not make enough to take the place of a full-time job, though I am beginning to see some small successes. When I started this, I knew it was not a get-rich-quick income, but then I don’t really need to be rich, just make enough to pay my bills and pay back student loans. What I have learned in the process is that, though a few do make it work quickly, the majority of people trying to make a living in Internet marketing struggle for a long time, months or sometimes even years, before “making it.”
Question 2: Should I do Internet marketing?
It depends. Are you willing to work at something else, assuming you can find the work, until your marketing efforts pay off? Are you willing to spend hours, days, or even months working through the learning curve? There is a huge learning curve due to having to learn marketing techniques, Internet marketing specifically, keyword identification, copywriting, some technical skills, who you can trust to give you correct information, and much more. Many people are successful Internet marketers, but all they sell is information on how to be successful Internet marketers. They are hard to identify, but most of the time, the content they sell is rehashed material that 1) either no longer works, or 2) has already saturated the market and it is difficult to make money using their techniques–note I said difficult, not impossible. If you have no job and no prospects, you should get started on Internet marketing as soon as possible, and put at least 12 hours a day into it. This will be the best way to succeed, but it won’t be quick. You need to have another source of income while you get this going.
Question 3: How can I shorten the learning curve?
Find a reputable organization and sign up with them. There are a few, though they are not easy to locate. It took months for me to sift through the chaff to find the grain, so to speak. While this will not remove the learning curve, it will allow you to learn from someone who actually walks the talk and can give you specific, concrete information. Once you find this entity, read everything three times. Then on the fourth read, start following the steps they suggest. By reading everything three times, first, you are building a solid foundation to understanding what they are asking you to do. If you cannot commit to reading everything three times, work through the steps during the first read, but be sure you go back and read it again. There is so much content to absorb, it cannot happen overnight, or even in the first week. I am still learning, and much of it is just now starting to make sense.
Question 4: Do I have to know how to build a Web site?
No, you are not required to know how to build Web sites, though some knowledge or experience with XHTML and CSS is helpful. Some organizations provide free Web site software that helps you build a site, even without technical knowledge. The issue is that if something gets broken, without the XHTML and CSS skills, you may have to ask someone else for help. FrontPage, Dreamweaver, and other Web design software can also be used, but I highly recommend that you do not use Microsoft Word. Word puts in a ton of excess garbage, and makes it difficult for even a Web design guru to find and fix errors. Some organizations offer free Web site templates to their members that give the option of developing a site by filling in the blanks. Be careful of these if you don’t understand Web design code. There may be some code built into it that does things you don’t know about, and could get you in trouble–for instance, Java or JavaScript code that captures and forwards information about your readers/customers to a third party you don’t know exists. Worst case, you can find someone to build your site for you. Costs for this service range from $50 to $5000 or more, depending on what you need coded. For a simple one page site, the range should be from $50 to $500, depending on the skill and experience of the designer, as well as exactly what you need coded.
Question 5: Where can I find good information on how to do Internet marketing?
There are several resources available to you. Find and bookmark, or favorite, blogs about Internet marketing. Search for and bookmark forums about Internet marketing–lurk for a while, reading content provided as well as answers to questions newbies ask. Do they seem honest and straight forward or convoluted and confusing? Register with one or more forums after you choose those that seem most helpful to you. Spend hours reading everything in the forums, taking notes on those procedures that are interesting to you. Type up your notes to help solidify in your mind the information you have gleaned from the forums. Refer back to your notes often to be sure you are not missing a vital bit of information. Find an Internet training site, such as Wealthy Affiliate University, and sign up for membership and training. Click on the link at the bottom of the page to learn more.
Question 6: What is the most important thing for me to do?
Make a plan for each day and stick to it. Decide what you want out of Internet marketing, then plan how to get there. It has been said, plan your work and work your plan. This is especially true in Internet marketing. If you don’t plan, you will find yourself surfing the Internet looking for things to do, or doing busy work such as dusting your home office for the fourth time in two days, or reading emails. These are some of the ways to trick yourself into thinking you are actually working, when you are in fact spinning your wheels and getting no where. Keep moving forward, working your plan daily, and you will succeed in time.
Question 7: What equipment do I need?
You will need to have a computer and Internet access, or at least access to both through the local library or elsewhere. As far as equipment goes, that is all you have to have. You will need a text editor, but WordPad and Notepad, both of which came free with your personal computer, will work quite well. Spreadsheet software is helpful for keeping records, but not required. You can keep records in a spiral notebook, if you need to. A reference to XHTML coding is a good idea, but you can also look this information up on the Internet. Simply search for free XHTML HTML tutorials.
You must be persistent. How many cliches fit here? The early bird gets the worm; Rome wasn’t built in a day; keep on trucking; press on; a stitch in time saves nine; if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again; keep your nose to the grindstone; never give up; and many more. These are cliches, because they are overused phrases. They are overused, because they are truisms. Search for, print out, and read daily Calvin Coolidge’s quote on persistence. Coolidge may not have been the best president in history, but he got this right.
To succeed as an Internet marketer, you will have to dive into the literature of the field and read deeply. You will have to be committed to the point that you will persevere when things do not work out the way you expected them to. You will have to learn who to turn to for advice, then pay attention. You will have to do it. Just do it! There is no substitution for rolling up your sleeves and getting to work–yes, I know, another cliche. Again, cliches are cliches because they are so obviously true and they work.

On Being A Noob In Internet Marketing
Internet marketing can be very exciting. It can also become very depressing if you don’t have a solid grasp on what it takes to succeed.
Unfortunately, many internet ‘noobs’ consume a great deal of time, energy, and money not fully understanding some of the basics of internet marketing. If this is you, don’t let yourself become easily discouraged and please don’t break the bank. Go litely with your money until you get a firm grasp on how you are going to proceed. Do not buy into the latest, greatest, best… ‘guru’ package until you understand the ropes a bit.
Here are a few questions and answers to help you better understand what internet marketing is all about.
Just what Is Internet Marketing?
In general, marketing is about communicating to others, a product, a service, an organization or business, or even an idea. It uses various forms of communications and techniques involving advertising, promotion and sales to promote and sell.
Marketing also includes researching the market to learn what consumers want, and then sets out to meet their needs with the right product, at a good price, and a prompt delivery method.
Good marketing also includes attracting new customers, while keeping your existing customers interested in your products or services. The other challenge is in maintaining, building and keeping your customer base. In other words, creating product loyalty.
Internet marketing is really no different except for the tools you will be using. Such as having a website, blogging, email, search engine optimization, RSS feeds, and autoresponders, just to name a few.
What Will it Cost Me To Do Internet Marketing?
First of all, what is your time worth? If you have free time available, invest it wisely. But my best advise would be to keep your day job, if you have one, until you have many months of financial success.
You can set up a web site very cheaply – under a $100 a year and/or a blog for free. While free web hosting and free blogs sounds great to help get yourself established, remember that somebody else owns them and can take your site or blog down in the blink of an eye. So as soon as possible make sure to get your own paid hosting so you have control over your internet marketing affairs. You can buy text links for around $10 a month. You could also easily spend $25 – $100 or more a day for advertising, but there are many cheaper alternatives available
You need to do research for your particular niche, and then set up a basic business plan Decide how much each prospective customer is worth to you. This will enable you to plan out a budget if you decide to do an PPC – pay per click – internet marketing campaign.
It is always best to start small and and slowly build your business as you continually test and learn what is successful for your particular market. No matter what you may hear… There is no one particular formula or solution that works for everyone.
Every successful internet marketer uses the same basic marketing techniques and then ‘tweaks’ them according to their needs.
And no, they aren’t going to sell you their multi-million dollar marketing secrets for $47. Or even A few thousand dollars. Would you. They always hold something back and/or they have already played the game and see that that particular system is flooding and so they sell shovels to the miners while they find newer and fresher hunting grounds to ‘rinse and repeat’ as they say.
What Are The Benefits of Marketing Through The Internet?
The very nature of the internet means it is open for business 24/7. Your web sites and blogs continue working to promote and market your product long after your initial marketing efforts are over. And with having the right kind of linking, your sites will continue to do your selling over a very long period of time.
If you build your customer list correctly, email marketing also offers you the ability to personalize your content as well as reach a targeted customer, so your chances for sales dramatically increase.
Internet marketing offers convenience and immediate satisfaction for your customer. You are able to offer them the ability to act on what interest them right now. That is the power and attraction of internet marketing.
Successful internet marketing does not happen overnight, no matter what they – the gurus – say. So stop procrastinating, you are ready to begin internet marketing — and eventually succeed with your internet business venture.
Remember, you haven’t failed until you quit.

More Internet Marketing
Recent research shows that 45% of small businesses believe the Internet will be an important tool in helping them survive and prosper during the recession with one in five believing it will be the most important tool in helping small businesses beat the recession.
The survey of companies with 10 – 250 staff shows small businesses see the Internet as crucial to boosting their profiles and unlocking new revenue opportunities.
For example, 74% of small businesses will use the web to grow their company profile with 52% claiming that the web would put them on a level playing field with bigger companies.
When it comes to creating new opportunities 46% are looking to create new products and services on the web and over 58% are looking to use the web to expand into new markets at home and overseas.
This being the case SMEs must learn how to use and budget for Internet Marketing much more effectively as previous research has shown that for SMEs:
- The average age of a website is four years
- 23% of websites have not been updated since launch
- 38% had no budget at all for website updates
- For those with budget annual spend was around £250
- 25% of companies had no way of tracking their site
- Only 8% had an ECommerce element to their sites
What is Internet Marketing?
Internet Marketing, i-marketing, web marketing, online marketing, e-marketing, all refer to the same thing – the marketing of products or services on the web and via electronic customer relationship management (ECRM) using creative design and development, search engine optimization (SEO), pay per click (PPC), viral marketing, e-mail marketing and social marketing.
Internet Marketing is used in e-commerce, publishing, lead generation websites and affiliate marketing because it is cheap when compared to most traditional advertising. You can reach a much wider and yet more targeted audience for a small fraction of traditional advertising budgets. Additionally it allows potential customers to research and purchase products and services at their convenience and with minimal ‘push’ 24 – 7 – 365.
As well as all these advantages Internet Marketing can be tracked, measured and tested because it normally requires people to click on an advertisement or visit a website and perform a targeted action. It’s less common for this to be done in more traditional forms of marketing.
What can Internet Marketing do?
Internet Marketing can do any and all of the following:
- Get your website, products and services found from the 325 million searches done every day
- Communicate a company’s message about itself, its products, or its services online
- Research the demographics, preferences and needs of existing and potential customers
- Sell goods, services or advertising
- Recruit staff
If you have a website you are, even if you don’t know it or don’t do it very well, involved in Internet Marketing.
A website can inform existing and potential customers of the features and benefits of your products and/or services and they are a great way to establish your business identity but if it can’t be found…………………..that’s where Internet Marketing comes in.
The place to start is Search Engine Marketing (SEM) or marketing a website online via search engines either by improving the site’s natural (organic) ranking through search engine optimization (SEO), buying pay-per-click (PPC) ads or purchasing pay-for-inclusion (PFI) listings in website directories, which are similar to offline yellow page listings.
SEO
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is a process (N.B. not an event) by which websites are ‘tuned’ to make them rank higher in natural search engine results listings.
An effective SEO strategy starts with the thorough research and analysis of a website, its market and its competition. Using the data generated by the research, targeted changes are made to the website and a network of high quality inbound links (also called backlinks or external links) is established via tactics such as:
- Free Directory submissions
- Paid Directory submissions
- Relevant comments in forums and blogs
- Tagging and social bookmaking
- Article syndication
- Online Press Releases
- Reciprocal Links / Link Exchanges
Following content optimisation and link building, the effectiveness of the website’s SEO is monitored with the use of website analytics software, such as Google Analytics which helps define the future direction of the SEO.
The main search engines are constantly refining how they perform, making it vital for SEO to remain adaptable and keep abreast of changes that could affect the ranking of the website.
PPC
Pay per Click means you advertise within the sponsored listings of a search engine or a partner site by paying either each time your ad is clicked (PPC) or less commonly, when your ad is displayed (CPM) or when a phone contact is generated which is ‘Pay per Call’. Note that paying a search engine for an advertwill not affect your rankings in their main listings, it will only ensure you get an advert.
Expenditure on PPC is much higher than that on SEO. e-consultancy estimates that it accounts for about 84% of search marketing spend in the UK. Many organizations adopt a strategy focusing on PPC since it is more controllable, and immediate results are possible. But, in the long-term, organic listings will probably deliver a higher volume of visitors at a lower cost per click. There is real competition in PPC these days and click costs have increased in many sectors. Your ability to generate ROI depends on how well you convert traffic to long-term customers.
Viral marketing
We touched on this in The Best Virals and Viral Marketing. Viral marketing is more than a “recommend a friend” it has 4 elements:
- The medium which encapsulates the idea
- Compelling, if not it will never be viral
- An online experience to further spread the idea
- An environment in which the idea can replicate and spread
As viral guru Seth Godin says: “For an idea to spread, it needs to be sent and received.
No one ’sends’ an idea unless:
- they understand it
- they want it to spread
- they believe that spreading it will enhance their power (reputation, income, friendships) or their peace of mind
- the effort necessary to send the idea is less than the benefits
No one ‘gets’ an idea unless:
- the first impression demands further investigation
- they already understand the foundation ideas necessary to get the new idea
- they trust or respect the sender enough to invest the time
Pictures and short jokes spread faster online because the investment necessary to figure out if they’re worth spreading is so tiny.”
Email marketing
Email marketing data offers incredible segmentation power and the ability to take advantage of small audience segments that might otherwise be financially or technically difficult to reach. Email addresses of customers and prospective customers may be collected. Various methods are used, such as the regular distribution of newsletters or mass mailing of offers related to the company’s product or services. Email marketing is essentially the online equivalent of direct mail marketing and you can use it to:
- Build up understanding. Success is getting in the prospects mind, not just in their mailbox.
- Increase repeat visits
- Incentivise purchases
- Develop the relationship with a planned set of objectives
Social marketing
Social marketing is very much a part of the web today. Internet Marketing used to be Google searches now people think in terms of blogs and social networks too. It is harder to reach your target customer today.
In a rapidly evolving, advertising-saturated new media environment, consumers have more power than ever to tune you out, so you have to put yourself where they can comfortably find you – inbound not outbound. Social media is different to marketing in traditional channels mainly because it is conversational.
Traditional marketing interrupts and talks at you. In social media you are talking with your customers and potential customers and they talk back.
In social marketing, you are not in control even if you want to be. Social marketing is about people who share a common interest, who care so much about a topic that they will spend their free time online talking about it, sharing it, tagging it etc. They are not there to listen to sales pitches or be talked down too. The objective is to become a member of the community. Only then can the goal of selling something work and the right approach is to add value, becoming a thought leader and thus be on the buying list when the time is right.

How to Find the Best Internet Marketing Software to Market
There is a trend happening in the sector of internet marketing software. If you actually open your eyes and focus on everything in the internet marketing world, you’ll notice this express trend that is rapidly invading our email inboxes from every internet marketing software guru out there. This trend is a marketing shift from text ebooks to more high valued products like multimedia online displays and software products.
in times past, many people have made tremendous fortunes online selling ebooks only. But the days of making significant money from writing your own text ebooks is now over. Many internet marketing professionals recognized this and straight away modified their marketing battle plan. Plenty of them jumped right into the internet marketing software industry to tap into the wealth of revenue that many individuals like Bill Gates from Microsoft and Larry Ellison from Oracle are already achieving.
Now the internet marketing software and technology industry has been known to create many multi millionaires and even billionaires. Due to the large number of millionaires in the software industry, I can conclude that lots of internet marketers who essentially dive into this industry and actually use practical internet marketing principles to market their internet marketing software will also become millionaires.
This transition is a particularly smart move and I personally recommend everyone concerned in internet marketing to become involved in the software marketing industry.
prime quality heavyweight software is usually pretty dear and will harvest a nice profit per sale. When I speak of high quality software, I am speaking about any software that will get you over $75 in profit. If you are truly looking to earn a millionaire fortune online, you can not sell any cheap software that will earn you between $10 to $50 per sale. Bill Gates won’t be the multi-millionaire he is today if he just sold cheap software.
extraordinarily high quality software does not saturate the internet like conventional ebooks do. You wish to sell unique internet marketing software that is of the highest caliber. The explanation why the ebook marketing craze is over now is actually because ebooks have literally saturated the web world. Ebooks were very good in their first days, but it ultimately evolved into a difficulty where every electronic book you read will say the same thing with a slight twist.
Also, most of the information found in ebooks can be found online for free by doing intensive research on the internet through search engines and niche directories. Online marketing professionals have noticed this decline, and straight away shifted over to selling prime quality internet marketing software items instead.
Software, for many years, has been known to clear up a multitude of categorical issues that not even one educational ebook can solve. Software makes the task of the user of the internet marketing software less complicated, and that’s why it is in high demand. Because of a high demand in software applications, a marketer can easily make a particularly worthwhile sale just from exploiting everyday online marketing concepts. People will always love and need new software.
As you can see from the three reasons listed above, marketing software via the internet is the new wave that is hitting the internet marketing world. If you are really serious about sustaining your career in internet marketing, you must think about transitioning over to marketing internet marketing software products on the web. There are huge profits that will still be reaped in this software industry. And when I say large profits, I mean it. This is why there is a rapid transition from standard ebooks to high quality software.

Be certain that you develop a consistent habit of taking action. Even if you consistently make mistakes it is imperative that you take action on a consistent basis. Create some form of time management system that you can use consistently. Prioritize your tasks and keep lists of everything that needs to be done. What ultimately matters is the consistent execution of your key activities. Your comfort level with specific tasks will improve over time!
Develop A Plan And Work The Plan…
2. Seeking Perfection From The Very Beginning
Many new online marketers go to extreme lengths to create the perfect scenario as they begin to execute their online marketing plans. This is important and key to your long term success. If not handled properly, this simple mistake will kill your spirit and put you out of business immediately. If you don’t have money to try each any every enticing offer that claims to help your business. DON’T spend money unnecessarily!
The Internet is full of fantastic copy and enticing offers, some of which are great others not so great. Don’t get side tracked by jumping from opportunity to opportunity, help program to help program or buying everything that lands in your inbox. The fact is, most online business essentials can be obtained for FREE. This is particularly true when you’re first starting out. If you commit to engage in a little research, you’ll be quite surprised at what you will find. Not only can you find great resources you will find them in many cases at no charge. Try to control your urge to purchase resources and tools. Think and evaluate carefully before you make purchases for your online business. Write a list of what you need. Examine the pros and cons, and make sure that your purchases are essential to achieving your goals.
4. Not Investing Enough Money On The Right Resources
Converse to point #3, many new online marketers fail to make the proper investment in the proper things. Anyone that tells you that you don’t have to spend ANY money to grow an online business is lying to you. Unfortunately you will have to spend money to sustain your business. When you initially start, you won’t have to spend much, as most of your time should be spent engaging in RESEARCH. You will need more money as your business continues to grow. For starters, you’ll need a domain, a hosting service and an autoresponder, all of which are pretty affordable. As you move forward, the bulk of your expenses will be on testing and promotion. If you’re paying someone to create a product or you’re buying resell rights to a product or service, you must account for these initial expenses as well. Starting out with affiliate products can greatly reduce these types of expenses and allow you to gain a greater understanding of the processes involved as you market online.
5. Pursuing Difficult Markets Due To Ineffective Market Research
This is a typical mistake but an easy mistake to make for the new online marketer. Most new marketers pursue markets that THEY THINK will be profitable. Before you decide on a product or market that you wish to target, make SURE that you’ve performed exhaustive market research. If you don’t, it could be months, even years before you realize that you’re involved in pursuing profits in a market that is NOT commercially viable for a beginning marketer. Perform thorough and exhaustive research BEFORE you invest time and money in your online marketing campaigns. Understand exactly what the term “niche” market means and adhere to that definition strictly. All niche markets are NOT profitable. Before you target your market make sure that customers within the targeted market are willing to spend money! If the market that you seek is not commercially viable, refocus your efforts and pursue a different market!
6. Lacking The Desire To Grow
You must develop an unquenchable desire to grow. Continual growth of your marketing knowledge and your perspective with respect to online marketing activities is essential. Learning online marketing is continual process not a destination. It’s essential that you develop this mind set immediately. If you’re not open to continual learning and growth you and your online business will become stagnant quickly. The skills needed to market online are constantly evolving and changing. One of the most important things you can do is to constantly update your skills and knowledge base with respect to your marketing internet marketing efforts. It is important to note that this doesn’t always occur in a linear fashion. There will be times where you’ll feel that your learning curve has stagnated but keep reading, listening and learning and your insights will continue to expand. Don’t get stuck using the same skills and ideas or doing things the same way for long periods of time without exploring ways to improve what you are presently doing.
7. Trying To Do Everything That Needs To Be Done… Alone
When starting an online business there is lots of activities and tasks that you need to address. This doesn’t always mean that you have to do it all yourself. Of course, you can do it alone but it will make the road ahead much harder, and in most cases a much longer road. Without the proper support and assistance you are more likely to experience burnout very quickly. You don’t have to outsource each and every thing, however it is wise to target certain areas that will monopolize your time and obtain help when needed. On-line forums, blogs and other portals can be a valuable source of ideas, and sources to provide assistance from other people in this area. Leverage your efforts by seeking assistance in areas that are not your best strengths.
8. The Pursuit Of Smaller Profit Sources / Setting Your Internet Income Goals To Low
Many new online marketers find it less intimidating to sell products or services that cost 10-20 dollars. They are misled into believing that these types of products or services will be easier to market. The fact is, in most cases, it takes just as much time, energy and effort to successfully market a $20.00 product as it does to successfully market a $100.00 product or service. Don’t dismiss the idea of varying the types of offers that you intend to market. Be sure to include a few higher ticket items in your offerings. If you’ve done your research, and handled your marketing correctly you can find success marketing these types of items even during the infancy stages of your online internet marketing experience. Undoubtedly, you’ll get less sales, but you’ll also enjoy more profits. You won’t know if you can market these types of offers unless you’re willing to give them a try. Don’t assume that these types of products and services are off limits to your internet marketing efforts. Do the research, target your market, develop your marketing campaigns and promote offers that give you a chance to earn higher commissions along with your small profit offers. Many high ticket offers perform better with existing customers. You typically have developed a relationship with these customers and many will try your offers based on your business relationship and your credibility.
9. The Failure To Separate Your Business Life and You Home Life
Many new online marketers start their online business in hopes to escape the hustle and bustle of traditional offline business activities. Don’t fall into the trap of creating another JOB at home with your online business. Though initially, getting your online marketing efforts up to par may take a little extra time and commitment, you don’t want your online business ventures to dominate your entire life. One of the biggest pitfalls of working from home is the fact that work s always accessible and so is your home life. Knowing how to separate the two is essential for maintaining balance and a healthy perspective.
You’ll find that your personal home life can also creep into your work activities. The fact that you’re at home makes it easy for the lines that separate these two aspects of life to become blurred. Try to separate the two by establishing fixed times when you work, and fixed times for your personal home life. In many cases it’s a good idea to establish a specific work area for performing your business activities. Work doesn’t have to take dominate your life, define distinct barriers that separate your home life and your work life.
10. The Inability To Remain Positive and Ambitious
When you start to pursue your Internet business, you will undoubtedly have those that will not have faith in your long term success. Conversely, you’ll have others that will encourage you and cheer for you every step of the way. I encourage you to surround yourself with positive thoughts and uplifting people to help you maintain your belief in YOU. Starting any type of business can be a daunting task. You absolutely must believe in yourself and remain ambitious to move forward.
Don’t allow ANYONE to tell you what YOU can’t do. Focus on your goals and set them in stone. Decide to decide to decide…. Once you’ve made a quality decision about your online marketing goals stick to them and pursue them CONSISTENTLY. Over time you will experience tell tale signs of success that will keep you motivated and moving forward. Create your own profitable mind set and don’t allow anyone to rob you of that mind set. If you THINK you can you CAN!
Creating an Internet business that consistently generates Internet income is no small task, however if you execute consistently and stay focused in a few key areas it is certainly accomplishable. Avoid these costly mistakes to help you as you pursue your internet marketing goals.
